Please bring back HERBACIN HAND CREAM (extra large tube and 20ml tube) from Germany. Distribution is through Texas, USA. Kamil is the product you replaced it with and it is totally inferior. No one carries Herbacin in Canada at this time. In opinion, in a cold and dry climate like Canada this is a necessary product that would be a best seller for you for sure! I'm begging you to bring this back!!! Thank you for your consideration regarding HERBACIN Hand Cream.

Incident at 6951 Derry Road, Milton, ON - Shoppers Pharmacy

I am actually appalled and what I encountered today at this location in Milton. I have had multiple issues in the past but this has just gone way too far.. I have picked up my prescriptions from this location for close to 2 years, and the only reason I have not switched, is because it's so closed to home. I picked up my prescription for an antibiotic I have never used before On January 12th. Any other time I have picked up medication that is new to my file, the pharmacist in ANY location has given me possible side effects and how to properly take the medication. I was handed my prescription, and the associate walked away without saying anything.. I called to her and asked "are there any side effects? any restrictions with this medication? I don't know how this will react with my regular daily meds?" She looked at the pharmacist and said "What do I tell her?" Not sure what the pharmacist said, but she responded with "It's okay, just take it with food" Ok. If the pharmacist says it's all fine, and just to take it with food, I'll do just that. Come to find out this kind of antibiotic can have terrible side effects. I developed an awful yeast infection, so my health practitioner suggested to see the shopper's pharmacist since she did not have any available appointments for the next week, as you can have them prescribe you things for minor illnesses. It was just that, minor but important and uncomfortable. Also a lot quicker than waiting for my symptoms to worsen while waiting for an appointment. I booked an appointment for January 17th at 4:25pm. Your online forum allows for patients to visit the pharmacist for a prescription/assessment for minor illnesses. With the embarrassment and discomfort I am already feeling, I go in for my scheduled appointment time at 4:25 and am ignored until 4:30 and I interrupt 2 assistants talking with each other to inquire about my appt. The pharmacist looked confused and had to ask another member of the team what I was talking about. He proceeds to pull my information and take my health card at the consultation desk. Now, in my experience, when you consult the pharmacist In general ways, ie. asking a question about your medication etc, its rather open but that's because you're not discussing your persona health, rather important information about the medication you are given. (I have not received that courtesy as I mentioned) The gentleman I spoke with openly asked me what I was there for although my appointment would say what I booked for.. Again, already embarrassed I explained I was reacting my amoxicillin because that was easier for me to say than I've got a bad yeast infection from taking antibiotics and Canesten isnt working Despite not being too busy, there were still enough people around - and I shouldnt have to disclose that kind of information so openly, not to mention how inappropriate it is to feel exposed. I don't recall having to disclose my medical concerns with my doctor in the waiting area. He then starts to ask me private questions! So my response was Are you going to ask me these things out in the open like this? He says Oh? Do You want to go into the private room? I respond with Thats probably best!!! He takes me into the office which is an absolute disaster so I blatantly tell him Ive developed these symptoms because at this point, I'm embarrassed, I'm speaking with a male pharmacist with 0 information on women's health, or proper patient care. I think its a yeast infection, and my nurse practitioner said the same. Since she doesnt have any appointments, she recommended I see you which is close to home. He responded I cant prescribe you anything. You need to see your family doctor After back and forth trying to understand why he couldnt help me, when I specifically booked for a yeast infection consult with the pharmacy, I left angry, embarrassed, and ashamed. I have never felt less important in the health care system and customer service in my life. I have never felt so embarrassed, and exposed like that. Given my chronic anxiety issues, which I have been prescribed medication for, I went home and had a panic attack after trying to google a solution for my problem... not to mention I had to do my research on the antibiotics I was given, instead of a trained professional providing proper information. Not to mention you can never get ahold of this pharmacy because the employees are always standing around gossiping rather than helping the phone ringing off the hook, or the 10 people in line. Several employees in customer service had hung up on me when I had been desperately trying to get a hold of the pharmacy, and when you walk in because no one answering the phone, there are 10 people in line, and the pharmacist assistants are gossiping with each other, and not supporting each other to help people quicker. Then when you ask them what the hold up is, the response is "We are understaffed". That excuse only goes so far when I see plenty of staff, with a lack of organization. This pharmacy has put my prescriptions on hold without notice, not contacted me, and shown a perfect example of a lack of professionalism. Before I pursue matters legally and further, I look forward to your prompt response. Milena

Formal Legal Complaint Regarding Severe Pharmacy Misconduct

Shoppers Drug Mart - Formal Legal Complaint Regarding Severe Pharmacy Misconduct
Dear administration, I, Ping-Che Hung, am writing to you with profound concern, formally addressing a matter of critical consequence pertaining to the deplorable standard of service encountered at Shoppers Drug Mart, Store #1402. This specifically relates to the actions of Pharmacist R. Rastegarianzadeh (Lic: 629813) and the branch manager. On January 5, 2024, during my visit to the aforementioned pharmacy, I experienced a series of egregious violations, including the dispensing of medication without my explicit consent. The subsequent denial of access to my prescription record by the branch manager raises serious questions about the transparency and accountability within your establishment. Of particular legal concern is the alarming disregard for verifying the prescribed dosage and medication in my presence, a matter of heightened significance considering the prescription in question is a controlled substance. This oversight resulted in an out-of-pocket expense due to insurance non-coverage. Furthermore, the pharmacy failed to adhere to fundamental protocols, neglecting to verify identification, explain potential side effects, and ensure strict compliance with prescription details. The significant discrepancy in the quantity of medication received, as compared to the prescription provided by my doctor, is not only negligent but also poses a severe threat to patient safety, especially given the controlled nature of the medication. Such levels of incompetence and disregard for patient well-being constitute a breach of the duty of care and may carry legal implications. To expedite a thorough legal investigation, I hereby express my willingness to provide recorded conversations and any pertinent documents that shed light on the severity of these malpractices. I insist on a meticulous examination of these issues and demand a comprehensive, legally sound response within a period of 10 days. Failure to address these matters promptly will leave me with no alternative but to pursue legal avenues and report this incident to relevant authorities, including but not limited to regulatory bodies overseeing pharmacy practices and consumer protection agencies. My intention is to shed light on the egregious conduct exhibited by your staff and seek redress for the severe impact this has had on my well-being and financial standing. I expect nothing short of a complete resolution to rectify the numerous breaches of trust and professionalism outlined in this communication. Thank you for your immediate attention to this grave matter. I anticipate a decisive and satisfactory resolution to restore my faith in the integrity of Shoppers Drug Mart. Sincerely, Ping-Che Hung JIN YUH TARNG STATIONERY LTD. Financial manager +1(43*)***-****

Waiting for over a week to get delivery of prescription.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Ordered refill of a prescription Friday, March 15. Apparently I've been added for deliveries to their files. I received messages that prescription was ready for delivery Tuesday March 19. I have Radiation appointments daily and was home less than 5 minutes after the guy showed up. Pharmacy called today, told them I would be out at 2:15 and to please deliver before this. This is 6:29 p.m. Friday, March 22 and still haven't received it. They want to send it Monday. Do they not realized the IMPORTANCE OF PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE TO BE ON TIME???

This location is constantly selling out of date products. Since Christmas 2023 I have purchased 4 cases of Pepsi zero that have been months past due. Today I bought a case of 18, dated feb 27/2023. Owner is not a good or nice person to deal with even his employees say so. I have shopped there for 17 years and by far he has been the most argumentative, confrontational owner yet. But I feel all this is not gonna change anything since shoppers shows such lack of customer service professionalism that its a miracle this location still exists. Convenience is why,not customer loyalty. Farshid Razavi is the worst ever. I m o

Employee very rude and disrespectful

Dec. 30 2023 @ 5:30pm.Location: Shoppers Drug Mart 2015 Long Lake Rd · (705) 522-**** Im an elderly lady couldnt stand in line anymore (because I was in pain and had the flu),to pay for my meds.so I asked the cashier for help at self-check out .She started helping me but left me standing there to go help another customer without finishing to help me. I called the store when I got home and asked to speak to the manager. When she came to the phone, I started telling her what had happened. She told me she was the one that came to help me (she was the manager and had no name tag on) She wouldnt let me talk at all, she was VERY rude, she kept talking over me and told me that I can use the cash to pay. When I got off the phone, I couldnt stop crying for the way I got treated twice as a customer. Ive been a customer there for many years and always had excellent service. She shouldnt be working there at all , let alone being the manager. Please help resolve this issue so it dont happen again.
